What they need
Practice Manager | Te Kāika | Queenstown
At Te Kāika, great healthcare starts with people feeling welcome, supported and heard. We’re looking for a Practice Manager who can bring that same care to leading our Queenstown clinic - someone who builds a strong team, keeps the day running smoothly and makes a difference to the experience of every patient who walks through our doors.
If you’re ready to put your leadership skills to work in a place with purpose, we’d love to meet you.
Your leadership. Our community. A real difference.
You’ll be at the heart of the practice, working alongside clinical and organisational leaders to turn plans into action. From supporting kaimahi to improving systems, you’ll help create an environment where the team can do their best work and whānau can access the care they need.
You will:
- Lead day-to-day practice operations, balancing patient needs, team capacity and service priorities.
- Support and develop a connected, capable team.
- Work closely with clinical leaders to deliver safe, effective and welcoming services.
- Oversee administration, workflows and resources to keep the practice running well.
- Help maintain quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Build trusted relationships with patients, whānau and community partners.
You bring the calm, the clarity and the follow-through.
You’re approachable, organised and comfortable making decisions. You can see the bigger picture while noticing the details that matter. When the day gets busy, you help people find a way forward.
We’re looking for:
- Experience in practice management, healthcare operations or a relevant leadership role.
- Strong people leadership and clear, thoughtful communication.
- Confidence managing competing priorities and improving how things work.
- Sound judgement, discretion and a commitment to quality care.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, cultural safety and equitable health outcomes.
Bring your ambition. Make room for adventure.
This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful, community-focused healthcare while making Queenstown part of your everyday life.
