Waitemata Endoscopy is a joint venture partnership between a team of leading surgeons and physicians and Southern Cross Healthcare Ltd.  Our mission is to provide exceptional endoscopy care at every opportunity.

With an inclusive and patient-centered culture, comprehensive Endoscopy services are provided across both its clinics located on the North Shore and West Auckland.  We are seeking an experienced and proactive Practice Manager to work closely with our Clinical team to lead and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of our Endoscopy clinic and drive operational excellence across our administration and support functions.

About the Role

This is a hands on leadership role supporting our amazing clinical and administrative team with appointment scheduling, streamlining workflows, and ensuring every patient experiences the high standard of care we're known for. You will play a key role in continuous quality improvement to further build highly resilient and efficient workflow processes while fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.

About the role ...

·        Provide direct line management and leadership to admin staff including training, development across both sites.

·        Support continuous innovation and workflow optimization across the practice.

·        Accountable for productivity as well as developing balanced team KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement

·        Build strong working relationships with referrers and healthcare providers to facilitate the delivery of exceptional healthcare services

·        Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint competently to analyse data to provide insightful information for action and identify key levers

·        Support accounts, invoicing, financial reporting and operational planning

About you ...

·        You will be committed to delivering exceptional customer service and patient care

·        You are proactive, with a solutions-focused mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead by example

·        Previous experience in a Practice Manager, Admin Manager, or similar leadership role.

·        Experienced in HR, staff recruitment, training, workflow planning and performance management

·        You have experience improving workflows and operational efficiency while strengthening accountability within teams.

·        You are a strong communicator, highly organized and commercially aware

·        Proficiency in practice management or medical software e.g. Indici etc would be beneficial
