What they need

About Salus

Salus Clinical is an institutionally backed, ultra-premium preventative and longevity medicine clinic based in Austin, Texas. The clinic integrates physician-led medicine with performance, nutrition, recovery, cognitive, behavioral and genomic disciplines into a single membership model, delivered in clinic and in the member's home, to an invitation-only membership that expects the highest standard of care and discretion.

Each member is supported by a dedicated, physician-led care team and a personalized longevity plan, with operations and hospitality held to the same standard as the medicine.

Role Summary

The Practice Manager owns the operating system of the clinic: the people, processes, compliance posture, vendors and member experience that allow the physician and performance teams to practice at the highest standard without operational friction. This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will run and continuously elevate the practice's operations with the discretion and precision expected by a high-net-worth membership.

This is not an administrative or front-desk role. It requires a proven operator who has already run a concierge, luxury or longevity medical practice and can apply that experience from day one.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate combines five capabilities, all of which are expected on arrival:

  • Client relationship management: owns the long-term relationship with each member household, anticipating needs rather than reacting to requests.
  • Constant client contact: is the member's first and continuous point of contact, reachable and responsive, with a cadence of proactive outreach between visits.
  • Experience management: designs and controls every touchpoint of the member journey so that care feels seamless, personal and unhurried.
  • Hospitality: brings a luxury service standard from five-star hotels, private aviation, private banking or comparable environments into a medical setting.
  • Clinical medicine background: understands clinical workflows, terminology, diagnostics and care plans well enough to translate between physicians and members and to coordinate care accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Practice operations

  • Run, document and continuously refine all clinic workflows: scheduling, member intake, visit preparation, diagnostic coordination, results follow-up and care plan execution.
  • Own the practice SOP library, keeping internal and member-facing procedures current and enforced.
  • Manage clinic facilities, equipment, supplies, inventory and the in-clinic and in-home service environment to a luxury hospitality standard.

Client relationship and experience management

  • Serve as the primary, ongoing point of contact for each member and their household, family office or personal staff, with proactive check-ins between visits.
  • Own the member journey end to end, from onboarding through annual renewal, setting and holding the hospitality standard at every touchpoint.
  • Translate care plans, results and next steps into clear, timely communication in coordination with the physician and performance teams.
  • Coordinate outsourced and specialty services (advanced imaging, coronary CT angiography, multi-cancer screening, genomic panels, continuous glucose monitoring) with seamless scheduling, travel and results handoff.
  • Track member satisfaction, engagement and program compliance, and resolve issues before they reach the physician.
  • Exercise absolute discretion with member information, schedules and personal matters.

Compliance and risk

  • Maintain HIPAA privacy and security compliance, including policies, training, access controls, business associate agreements and incident response.
  • Support Texas corporate practice of medicine boundaries between the MSO and the PLLC, ensuring operational decisions never cross into clinical control.
  • Manage provider credentialing, licensure tracking, DEA and CLIA requirements as applicable, OSHA, malpractice coverage and regulatory filings.

People leadership

  • Recruit, onboard and manage non-physician clinical support, care coordination and administrative staff.
  • Build schedules, coverage models and performance standards across medical, performance and support teams.

Financial and vendor management

  • Own the practice operating budget, monthly variance reporting and spend controls in line with board-approved authority thresholds.
  • Oversee membership billing and collections through the PLLC, and the MSO management services reconciliation.
  • Source, negotiate and manage labs, imaging centers, specialty providers, technology vendors and hospitality partners.

Systems and data

  • Administer the EHR, member management platform and practice technology stack; drive adoption and data integrity.
  • Produce operating, member engagement and compliance reporting for the CEO and Board.

Required Qualifications

Direct experience is mandatory.

  • Minimum 5 years of medical practice management, including at least 3 years as the senior operations leader of a concierge, direct-pay, executive health, longevity or luxury medical practice.
  • Demonstrated client relationship management of an ultra-high-net-worth patient base, including daily contact with members, family offices, executive assistants and personal staff.
  • Proven experience designing and managing a high-touch patient or client experience, with a hospitality-grade service standard.
  • Hands-on ownership of HIPAA compliance, credentialing, licensure tracking and regulatory readiness in a physician practice.
  • Proven record of building and scaling operational infrastructure: SOPs, staffing models, vendor networks and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of EHR administration and practice management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience scaling a practice through membership growth or additional locations.
  • Prior employment in luxury hospitality, private aviation or private banking before moving into healthcare.
  • Familiarity with advanced diagnostics, functional and preventative medicine, performance training or wearable-driven care programs.
  • MHA, MBA or Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation.
  • Existing network of Austin-area specialists, diagnostic providers and healthcare vendors.

Compensation, Schedule and Application

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary and performance bonus tied to the measures above, plus benefits.
  • Schedule: Full time, on site in Austin. Member needs occasionally require availability outside standard hours.
  • Target start: Immediate.
