Practice Manager

We’re Growing – and We’re Looking for a Practice Manager to Lead Our Queenstown Hub Te Kāika | Queenstown Te Kāika is growing rapidly, and so is our Queenstown service.

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and people-focused Practice Manager to take the lead in the day-to-day running of our Queenstown Hub and help us take the next step in its development.

This is more than an administrative management role. You will be at the centre of the practice — working alongside our clinical team, supporting our staff, solving problems, improving systems and helping shape how the service grows. What will you be doing? As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and effective operation of the Queenstown Hub, including:

• Leading and supporting the practice team

• Day-to-day operational management

• Staff coordination and rostering

• Recruitment, onboarding and staff development

• Improving workflows, systems and patient experience

• Supporting clinical governance, quality and health & safety

• Managing the administrative and operational requirements of the practice

• Working closely with the Clinical Director and Te Kāika leadership

• Identifying opportunities for improvement and helping turn ideas into action

• Playing an important role in the continued growth of Te Kāika in Queenstown Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, approachable and practical .

Someone who can lead a team, communicate well, deal with the unexpected, and keep things moving when the practice gets busy.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in healthcare practice management or a similar leadership role

• Strong organisational and people-management skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• An understanding of primary healthcare and its day-to-day challenges

• The ability to work independently while being part of a wider leadership team

• A genuine commitment to providing accessible, high-quality and culturally responsive healthcare
