About the Company
An established and well-regarded Specialist Medical practice based in Kew is seeking an experienced and capable Practice Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations and work closely with the Practice Principals and wider team. The practice is professional, patient-focused and committed to providing a high standard of service and care.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Practice Principals, you will be responsible for the overall management and smooth running of the practice. This is a hands-on role encompassing people management, financial administration, operations, systems, compliance and practice coordination.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring a smooth, efficient and high-quality service.
• Lead and develop the practice team, including recruitment, rostering, training, performance and team culture.
• Manage practice systems and finances, including Genie, Eclipse, accounts, reporting and ongoing process improvements.
• Oversee compliance, governance and risk, including policies, privacy, quality improvement and data security.
• Build strong relationships with Practice Principals, medical professionals, hospitals, referrers and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate the broader administration of the practice, including facilities, IT, supplies, procedural requirements and other operational matters.

About You
You will be an experienced Practice Manager with a strong background in a specialist medical practice.
To be successful, you will have:

• Strong experience as a Practice Manager with specialist practice experience (Essential)
• Experience with Genie (Essential)
• Strong understanding of specialist practice workflows, administration and financial processes
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to support, develop and manage a team
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Professional, discreet and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to work calmly and independently

You will be someone who enjoys taking ownership and can confidently manage the many moving parts of a busy specialist practice.

The Offer
On offer is a salary of $100 - $110k + super (depending on experience). This role is a permanent position working 9-5pm (approx) with a 9 day fortnight.
