Practice Nurse

We are looking for a Reg Nurse to join our increasingly busy Dermatology Practice situated in Kelburn, Wellington.

 This is a part-time position which offers flexible hours for the successful applicant.

 Full training would be given in this exciting expanding field of medicine.

 The successful applicant will assist with setting up theatre, assisting doctors during surgical procedures, sterilizing instruments, restocking, assisting doctor during consultations and biopsies.

We are looking for:

• Registered Nurse – Registered with Nursing Council of New Zealand, with a current Practicing Certificate.
• Previous experience working in Dermatology, skin cancers, wound management would be desirable but not essential.
• Ideally, experience in small theatre and/or Practice Nursing.
• Post operative wound care experience.
• Have well developed interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Be able to work as team player in a multidisciplinary team.
• Organized and efficient.
• Be able to document accurately.
