What they need

Practice Operations Manager
Precision Care Chiropractic | Franklin, TN
Full-time, Monday through Friday | $58,000 to $64,000 base, plus performance bonus

Are you the person who notices the schedule gap before anyone else? Who fixes the process everyone else just works around? Who feels real satisfaction when a day runs smoothly because you made it run that way?

If so, keep reading.

Precision Care Chiropractic has been established since 2011 and is a thriving upper cervical practice in Franklin, Tennessee. We specialize in Atlas Orthogonal, a gentle, precise technique. Our patients often drive hours to see us, we see 200+ patient visits a week, and we’ve grown almost entirely by word of mouth. Now we’re looking for a Practice Operations Manager to put their stamp on how this practice runs.

This isn’t a job where you’re handed a binder and told to keep things as they are. Our systems are partially documented, and you’ll make them better. If you take pride in your work and want to build something you can point to and say “I did that,” this is that role.

You’ll report directly to Dr Zyla-Herrera and work closely with our staff to keep the clinic running smoothly week to week. To be clear: this is not a receptionist role with a bigger title. It’s the person who makes sure the practice runs on systems, not on any one person.

What you’ll own

  • The team and the day. Lead the front desk and administrative staff, keep scheduling accurate and patient flow smooth, and resolve routine staff and patient issues yourself.
  • The money side. Oversee care plan agreements, payments, deposits, collections, out-of-network billing and A/R follow-up, and coordinate payroll and benefits.
  • Systems and compliance. Keep our SOPs and checklists current and followed, and manage compliance records, HIPAA compliance officer, CE tracking, onboarding, vendors and facility needs.
  • The numbers. Track our key metrics, including collections, new patients, retention and scheduling, and bring a concise weekly dashboard to our leadership meeting.
  • Marketing execution. Make sure newsletters, social media and office campaigns go out on time.

How you’ll start
For your first month or two, you’ll run the front desk yourself. It’s the fastest way to learn our patients, our systems and where things break. Then you’ll hire and train our next front desk team member and step fully into the role. You should be comfortable running the front desk any time it’s needed, but leading operations is the job.

What success looks like
A year from now, the practice feels organized, accountable and calm. Routine problems get solved at the right level, the team knows what’s expected of them, and nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll be judged less by how many tasks you complete and more by how many problems never become problems.

You’ll do well here if you

  • Take ownership without waiting to be told
  • Can hold people accountable and have direct conversations with kindness
  • Like building systems, and actually following them
  • Are comfortable with numbers, reports and metrics
  • Make sound decisions within clear boundaries, and know when something needs to go up the ladder
  • Bring warmth to patients and staff, because great patient experience and strong operations go together
  • Want to join a team dedicated to great customer service and helping patients get the results they desire.

Experience
Experience managing a healthcare, dental, chiropractic, physical therapy or other professional practice is strongly preferred, especially staff supervision, billing and collections, scheduling systems, payroll or HR, and KPI reporting. ChiroTouch experience is a plus. You don’t need clinical training.

Compensation & Opportunity
Base salary of $58000 to $64,000 depending on experience, plus an quarterly performance bonuses. Benefits: PTO, paid holidays, complimentary chiropractic care, 401(k), etc.

As the practice grows to add associates and services, this role grows with it. The right person will help shape how Precision Care runs for years to come.

Interested?
Send your resume to [email protected] with the subject line Operations Manager.
Skip the formal cover letter. Instead, tell me briefly:

  • Tell me about a system or process you built or fixed. What changed because of it?
  • Describe a time you had to hold a coworker accountable. What did you say, and how did it turn out?
  • How do you know at the end of each week whether an office is on track, without having to check everything yourself?

If you want a role where your work shows, I’d like to hear from you.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Employee discount
  • Paid time off
