Job Summary:
Under general supervision, contacts insurance companies to obtain pre authorization for various testing and or therapy. Obtains necessary personal and medical information from physician office on the patient for use in authorization. Performs computer data entry and other record keeping tasks related to authorization of patients’ treatment.

Status : Full Time

Shift: Evenings

Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am -7:30pm

Job Essentials:
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Ability to function independently

Clerical, data entry and some typing skills including: Filing and record keeping

Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Flexible and able to pay close attention to details

Ability to complete needed tasks with speed accuracy

One or more years of related insurance experience in health care facility or physician office preferred

Education Requirements:
Completion of high school or equivalent education or minimum 5 years’ experience in related field.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.

Minimum rate: $17.00
