Job Summary Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage to ensure accurate processing of services and minimize financial barriers to care. Review payer requirements and obtain necessary pre-authorizations for diagnostic exams, imaging studies, procedures, and specialty services in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and patients regarding authorization status, coverage limitations, and required documentation. Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with payer guidelines, and proactively resolve authorization issues to prevent delays in patient treatment, scheduling, and reimbursement. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent patient service.
