What they need
- Welcome and attend to patients and visitors professionally and courteously.
- Manage patient registration, appointment booking and confirmation .
- Verify patient details, previous records, referrals and required documents.
- Guide patients through the OPD journey , including registration, consultation, diagnostics and billing.
- Coordinate patient flow between Front Office, Optometry, Doctors, Diagnostics, Counselling and OT teams .
- Manage appointments and ensure timely communication regarding delays or schedule changes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the hospital/EMR system.
- Coordinate with the billing/cashier team for consultation, diagnostic and procedure-related billing.
- Handle cash/receipt-related activities as per company process, wherever assigned.
- Support admission, discharge and surgery-related documentation as applicable.
- Coordinate with patients regarding surgery scheduling, investigations, pre-operative requirements and follow-ups .
- Make appointment and surgery reminder calls where required.
- Handle patient queries and complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the Centre Manager.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of patient records.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information at all times.
- Coordinate with insurance/TPA teams for required documentation, wherever applicable.
- Maintain daily MIS related to OPD, appointments, registrations, collections and other assigned parameters .
- Ensure the reception and front-office area is clean, organized and professionally maintained.
- Follow all hospital SOPs, patient safety requirements and service standards.
