Pre-Commissioning Pipeline Technician (2-3 months contract)

Mind Stream is hiring for our client for a hands-on Pre-Commissioning Pipeline Technician supporting hydrotest, pigging, and nitrogen purging activities.

Responsibilities:

• Execute hands-on pipeline pre-commissioning activities in accordance with approved procedures.
• Prepare, set up, and operate assigned tools and equipment for pipeline testing.
• Support hydrostatic testing activities, including pump operation and manifold management.
• Assist with pig preparation, loading, launching, and receiving, and safe launcher and receiver operation.
• Support nitrogen purging and inerting setup and execution.
• Monitor pressure and equipment conditions, report leaks or abnormal readings, and support safe depressurisation and equipment removal.

Requirements:

• GCC oil and gas project experience is required.
• Hands-on pipeline pre-commissioning field work experience.
• Pipeline hydrostatic testing experience with pumps, hoses, manifolds, and pressure monitoring.
• Experience with pig loading, launching, and receiving.
• Experience with nitrogen purging and inerting.
