What we're looking for:

Key Responsibilities

• Check manuscript files, figures, tables, supplementary materials, and other components for completeness.
• Clean unnecessary formatting and prepare files for further production.
• Format article titles, author names, affiliations, correspondence details, abstracts, keywords, history dates, and headings according to the journal style.
• Correct spelling, punctuation, capitalization, spacing, units, symbols, and basic grammatical errors.
• Format references according to the prescribed style.
• Check uncited, unlisted, duplicate, mismatched, and incomplete references.
• Ensure citations, references, figures, and tables appear in the correct sequential order.
• Check figure captions, table titles, equations, float anchors, and citations.
• Verify mandatory statements, such as funding, conflicts of interest, ethics, author contributions, and data availability, where applicable.
• Make corrections using Track Changes and raise clear author or editorial queries for missing or unclear information.
• Follow journal style sheets, checklists, customer instructions, and turnaround times.
