Pre-K Teacher

Overview

Brock Country Day is seeking fulltime and part time teachers and assistants for prek age children. Must be a dependable, high energy, nurturing individual who can help provide a safe, loving and engaging environment for our kiddos.

What you’ll do

• Assist in providing a calm and organized environment that promotoes indepence and confidence, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
• Assist in fostering and maintaining a supportive, collaborative partnership with our other Kprep team members to ensure a school family atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns that may arise.
• Help in maintaining records, milestones and notes for developmental growth in children and sharing with parents.
• Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through ongoing professional development.

Basic qualifications

• Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting roles.
• Must be 18 years old, HS diploma or GED
• Must pass background checks
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain it upon hiring

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Base Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
