In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to implement educational activities, support classroom management, and foster a positive atmosphere that encourages curiosity and growth. Your contribution will be vital in helping children develop foundational skills in literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and early childhood development. Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lessons that promote literacy, math, and social skills using curriculum development strategies aligned with early childhood education standards.

Support classroom management by helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to learning and play.

Engage with children through interactive activities that encourage communication skills, behavior management, and positive social interactions.

Provide individualized support to children as needed.

Help monitor children’s progress and behavior, documenting observations to inform instructional adjustments and collaborate with teachers on tailored support plans.

Assist with daily routines such as snack time, bathroom breaks, nap times, and transitions between activities to ensure smooth classroom operations.

Contribute to the development of lesson plans by offering creative ideas that incorporate Montessori methods or other early childhood educational philosophies.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.

Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.

Ability to assist with classroom management and behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.

Familiarity with curriculum development for preschool-aged children in literacy education, math instruction, and overall early childhood education strategies.

Technical proficiency in using educational tools or software relevant to classroom support roles.

A proactive attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers on lesson planning and classroom activities.
