Come join our fun and loving team at Agape Childcare Center!

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Pre-K/Toddler Float Teacher to join our team!

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children and loves a little variety in their day! Our Float Teacher will work with children ages 2–5 years old in different classrooms throughout the afternoon.

This individual will also step in to assist or cover classrooms when our regular Toddler or Pre-K teachers are absent. We are looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed!

Responsibilities

• Assist in Toddler and Pre-K classrooms with children ages 2–5.
• Fill in for classroom teachers during absences, breaks, or when additional coverage is needed.
• Engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities, crafts, games, and learning experiences.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and positive classroom environment.
• Assist with afternoon snacks, bathroom breaks, diaper changes, and daily routines.
• Provide active supervision and follow all DHS licensing requirements.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
• Work as a team to ensure our children receive the best possible care!

Qualifications

• Must genuinely enjoy working with young children.
• Must be dependable, patient, nurturing, and energetic.
• Must be flexible and comfortable working in multiple classrooms.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass required background checks and meet Oklahoma childcare licensing requirements.
• Must be willing to learn and follow Agape's policies and procedures.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Must have flexibility to come in earlier when needed to help cover teacher absences or staffing needs.
