Pre-Press Technician

BookLogix, a book printer in Alpharetta, Georgia, has an opening for a Pre-Press Technician to review accuracy in files and make adjustments to files for print books.

NO REMOTE WORK, THIS IS AN IN-HOUSE POSITION ONLY. APPLICANTS MUST BE LOCAL TO THE AREA.

Responsibilities Include:

• Pre-Press/Set up materials to be ready for printing
• Ensure files are correct for printing
• Make adjustments to files as needed using Adobe Programs and Microsoft Word
• Work with clients to get corrected files and understand their needs to ensure print accuracy

Requirements:

• Must have extensive knowledge of PDFs, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Word
• Knowledge of print industry standards a plus
• Attention to detail
• Candidate will work out of our Alpharetta, Georgia (Forsyth County) office full-time.
