Job Summary

We are looking for a caring, energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Pre-Primary Teacher to nurture young children and create a safe, joyful, and engaging learning environment. The teacher will be responsible for supporting the overall academic, social, emotional, and physical development of children through age-appropriate activities and play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging lessons and age-appropriate classroom activities.
• Use play, stories, rhymes, music, art, games, and hands-on activities to support learning.
• Create a warm, safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Develop children's communication, social, motor, cognitive, and emotional skills.
• Observe and assess children's progress and maintain appropriate records.
• Encourage good habits, manners, independence, and positive behaviour.
• Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of all children.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's development and classroom activities.
• Participate in school events, celebrations, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
• Prepare teaching-learning materials and maintain classroom displays.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and the school coordinator to implement the curriculum.
• Follow school policies, procedures, and child-safeguarding guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate degree; ECCEd / NTT / D.El.Ed. / Montessori training will be an advantage.
• Prior experience working with pre-primary children is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, compassionate, and approachable personality.
• Creative approach to teaching and classroom management.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Genuine interest in early childhood education.
