Job Summary
Orchids The International School is seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing Pre-Primary Teacher to join our Hinjewadi Phase 3 (Ghotawade, Pune) campus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the holistic growth of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
• Foster a warm, caring, and stimulating classroom environment for pre-primary students.
• Encourage learning through play, storytelling, music, art, and hands-on activities.
• Observe, assess, and document students academic, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
• Ensure classroom safety, hygiene, and discipline at all times.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership.
• Participate actively in school events, trainings, workshops, and meetings.
• Support students with individual learning needs using appropriate strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECCEd / D.Ed / NTT / Montessori) OR
• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline with relevant early childhood training.

Experience

• 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in pre-primary or kindergarten preferred.
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching may also apply.
