Pre Sales - Cyber Security Engineer

About the Role

Quadra is looking for a Cyber Security Presales Engineer to support the sales engine by identifying customer security requirements, designing robust cybersecurity solutions, and articulating the value of Quadra's security offerings. Acting as a trusted security advisor, you will help customers mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and strengthen their security posture across cloud, endpoints, applications, network, and infrastructure — translating complex security challenges into compelling, customer-ready solutions that drive deal wins and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand business objectives, security challenges, compliance needs, and risk posture; conduct high-level security assessments and gap analysis across cloud, endpoints, network, identity, and data.

Design end-to-end cybersecurity architectures leveraging Quadra's OEM portfolio (CrowdStrike, Sophos, Zscaler, Fortinet, Barracuda) aligned to frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and RBI/SEBI/DPDP.

Lead discovery calls, security workshops, product demos, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs); clearly articulate security value, risk reduction, and ROI to technical and business stakeholders (CISOs, CTOs, IT Heads).

Prepare solution proposals, architecture diagrams, SoW/BoM, and respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs; coordinate pricing and commercials with sales.

Collaborate with sales, delivery, SOC, engineering, and OEM partners; ensure smooth presales-to-delivery transition and support QBRs for upsell/cross-sell.

Enable sales teams with security knowledge and competitive insights; stay current on cybersecurity trends, threats, regulations, and OEM certifications.

Skills & Attributes

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-design skills with hands-on cybersecurity technical acumen.

Excellent communication and consultative selling ability — able to explain complex security concepts in business-friendly language and frame them as business outcomes (e.g., breach-risk reduction, MTTD/MTTR improvement).

Ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel in a fast-paced environment; self-driven, accountable, and collaborative.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

5–7 years in Cyber Security Presales / Solution Consulting / Security Engineering.

Preferred certifications: CEH, AZ-500, SC-200, Security+, CISSP, CISM, CCNA, or equivalent OEM certifications (CrowdStrike, Sophos, Zscaler, Fortinet).
