Pre Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity)

About the role

As a Pre Sales Engineer specialising in Cybersecurity, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and our clients' security needs. You will play a crucial role in the sales process by providing technical expertise, conducting demonstrations, and developing tailored solutions that address complex cybersecurity challenges.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) solutions tailored to client needs
2. Collaborate closely with the sales team to prepare technical proposals, RFPs (Request for Proposals) and solution documentation
3. Provide expert technical guidance during the sales cycle, addressing client questions and concerns regarding cybersecurity solutions
4. Create and present technical presentations to C-level executives, IT managers and security professionals
5. Analyse competitor offerings and market trends to provide insights that strengthen our competitive positioning
6. Maintain detailed documentation of technical requirements, client feedback and solution specifications
7. Support the sales team with technical training on our cybersecurity products and services
8. Liaise between sales, product development and customer success teams to ensure seamless solution delivery
9. Continuously update technical knowledge on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies and industry best practices

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering, sales engineering or technical sales role within the cybersecurity or ICT sector
3. Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including network security, application security, data protection, threat detection and incident response
4. Proven experience conducting technical assessments, security audits and creating proof-of-concept solutions
5. Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
6. Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and platforms (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability management, endpoint protection or similar)
7. Strong problem-solving abilities with a client-centric approach to solution development
8. Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig City
