PRE-SALES ENGINEER – FDAS

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Sales Team throughout the sales process.
• Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and technical assessments.
• Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate FDAS solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and project specifications.
• Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations to clients.
• Review and interpret FDAS plans, layouts, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
• Assist in project costing, system design, and solution development.
• Respond to technical inquiries and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Support the sales team in bidding, presentations, and client negotiations.
• Monitor awarded projects and coordinate with the technical/operations team when needed.
• Maintain good relationships with clients and identify potential business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Technical Sales.
• Must have relevant experience in FDAS / Fire Alarm Systems.
• Knowledge of FDAS components such as Fire Alarm Control Panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual pull stations, notification appliances, and related devices.
• Experience in preparing BOQ, quotations, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and FDAS layouts.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Willing to conduct site visits and meet clients when required.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• With a valid driver's license is an advantage.
