Pre-Sales Engineer ~ Network Engineering

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer with 7-10 years of Pre-Sales Engineering experience and a strong foundation in Network Engineering. This individual will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping enterprise customers solve complex networking, observability, security, and application performance challenges through consultative selling.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with exceptional communication and presentation skills. You will work closely with sales teams and customers to deliver compelling product demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and Proofs of Value (POVs) while driving successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Enterprise Account Executives throughout the sales cycle.

Conduct technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers.

Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations.

Lead and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Proof of Value (POVs).

Serve as a trusted advisor on Network Observability, Network Performance Monitoring, and Application Performance Monitoring solutions.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectures.

Collaborate with product management, engineering, and customer success teams.

Help customers improve network performance, application resiliency, operational visibility, and overall business outcomes.

Support technical evaluations and respond to RFPs/RFIs.

Build strong relationships with customer technical teams, architects, and executive stakeholders.

Experience

7-10 years of Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Sales Engineering experience.

Experience selling software and/or hardware solutions from a technology vendor perspective.

Proven success supporting enterprise sales organizations.

Experience working with large enterprise customers.

Strong consultative selling and customer engagement skills.

Prior experience in highly technical enterprise software sales environments.

Experience with network traffic analysis and packet capture technologies.
