Pre-Sales Solution Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to join our Christchurch team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically capable, customer-focused professional who enjoys combining deep technical expertise with commercial acumen to influence outcomes and drive growth.

Working closely with our sales teams, partners, and leading security vendors, you'll play a key role in designing, presenting, and positioning solutions that help customers achieve their business objectives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Present and demonstrate security solutions across leading vendors in a way that resonates with customers.
• Support sales teams and partners, enabling them to position and sell security products confidently.
• Engage directly with customers, answering technical questions and helping design tailored solutions.
• Identify new opportunities and contribute to winning deals through a consultative approach.
• Build strong relationships with partners, vendors, and customers to drive long-term success.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of technical experience, with proven customer-facing experience.
• Technical knowledge in technologies within network security, cloud security, identity security, and security operations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence effectively.
• A diploma or degree in Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
• Industry-recognised networking or security certifications and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A relationship builder who thrives on collaboration and customer engagement.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to follow-up.
• A passion for technology and helping customers solve business challenges.
