Pre-Sales Solution Engineer (Informatica)

• Salesforce is looking for several Pre-Sales Solution Engineers to join our dedicated Informatica Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, who are instrumental to Informatica’s growth
• As a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, you will provide technical sales partnership to our sales teams and align our solutions to our customers’ vision
• The Informatica Sales team will rely on your technical and product expertise throughout the sales cycle
• You will be an integral part of the success for both our customers and Account Executives by performing technical discovery qualification, delivering product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts, delivering technical workshops, and making architectural recommendations
• As a hardworking technologist and customer advocate, you will connect the dots between the technical solution to the business outcomes for the customer
• Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a customer demo including discovery, technical qualification/fit, customer presentations, standard demos, and related customer facing communication
• Respond to Request for Information/Proposal documents
• Manage customer engagements without support
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to continuously improve Informatica’s products and marketing
• Share best practices, content, and tips and tricks within the primary area of responsibility
• Stay current on certification of services required for area of responsibility
• Partner with the CSM team on nurture activities including technical advisory, workshops, etc
• Provide customer feedback on product gaps using Vivun
• Support demos at marketing events without support

• Storytelling, and experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects specific to use cases
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing security aspects highly preferred
• Certification on at least 1 cloud ecosystem and 1 data related cloud technology at the level defined by the business area of focus
• Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%) and to work flexible hours
• Skills on at least one INFA related software platform /technology
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of top 3 cloud ecosystems and top 2 data related technologies highly preferred
• Experience engaging and creating relationships with influencers, coaches, decision makers, and partners
• Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience in data integration, master data management, or data governance
• 5+ years of presales/technical sales, industry, or consulting experience
• Basic technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products
