Trinity Pre-School Pre-School Educator - Term Time

40 Hours per week, 39 weeks per annum.

Start date: Tuesday 5th January 2027

The hours are 8:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday (30 minute lunch break).

Trinity Pre-School is looking to appoint a reliable, experienced, enthusiastic and confident Pre-School Educator, term-time only.

You should hold an approved UK, Level 3, or above, qualification in Early Years and must be supported by at least two years’ experience in an early years setting. (Level 2 would be considered if candidate has relevant EYFS experience within a Pre-School setting).

You must fully and accurately complete an application form.

Required education:

A relevant UK Early Years qualification (unfortunately a Health & Social Care qualification is not a relevant early years qualification).

Any offer of a position is subject to receiving two satisfactory references and the successful completion of an enhanced DBS check. (Trinity Pre-School will cover the cost of applying for a DBS check - the candidate would be expected to then join the DBS update service at their own cost - currently £16 per annum).

Housed in an attractive bespoke building, the Pre-School has a dedicated team of staff who are committed to providing high-quality care and education for Pre-School children. The ideal candidate will be someone with the same commitment and skills to support the already cohesive staff, with effective communication and motivation skills. Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in our pre-school setting.
• Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships.
• Observe and assess children's progress, adapting learning strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and health and safety regulations within the setting.
