Pre-School Practitioner

We are looking to recruit an experienced Level 3 qualified Pre-School Practitioner to join our team here at Southchurch Park Pre-School.

The post is a term time only position 4-5 days per week. Working hours are Monday to Friday 830am to 330pm. (Please only apply if you can work 830am-330pm as we cannot accommodate any other hours at this time.)

If you are an enthusiastic individual and hold a recognised Level 3 Qualification in Childcare and have recent experience of working in a preschool or other Early Years setting, we would love to hear from you.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join us as we begin this new chapter as we have recently moved to our new venue.

The Role:

• Supporting the learning and development of children aged 18 months-4 years in line with the EYFS
• Planning and delivering engaging, child-led activities
• Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times
• Supporting children with special educational needs

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Have a sound understanding of the EYFS framework
• Be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
• Be reliable, caring and a strong team player
• Have excellent communication skills
