Pre-Start Consultant

A well‑established custom home builder in Perth’s northern corridor is seeking an experienced Pre‑Start Consultant to join their team. This role suits someone who enjoys guiding clients through the pre‑construction journey and ensuring selections, documentation, and communication are handled with accuracy and care.

You’ll work closely with clients, estimators, designers, and construction teams to deliver a smooth and supportive pre‑start experience. The business is known for its modern systems, organised processes, and strong reputation for quality homes.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Managing client selections across interiors, exteriors, fixtures, and finishes
• Preparing pre‑start documentation, variations, and compliance requirements
• Coordinating with estimating, drafting, and construction to ensure accuracy
• Providing guidance on product options, upgrades, and budgets
• Reviewing plans and specifications with high attention to detail
• Maintaining strong client communication throughout pre‑construction

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Pre‑Start Consultant or similar role in residential building (minimum 1 year)
• Strong product knowledge across materials, finishes, and suppliers
• Excellent communication skills with confidence in client‑facing environments
• High attention to detail and ability to review plans, variations, and specifications accurately
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with consistency and precision
• Willingness to learn — training and support can be provided for the right candidate
