Precast Concrete Operative

Job Overview:

Kingdom Concrete Products Limited. Muckross, Killarney, Co. Kerry, Ireland. We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Precast Concrete Operative to join our production team. The role involves manufacturing precast concrete products, preparing moulds and reinforcement, handling finished products, and ensuring products are safely prepared for delivery.

Job Duties:

• Make precast concrete products using moulds.
• Prepare and place steel rebar into moulds.
• Pour concrete into moulds.
• Remove concrete products from the moulds once ready.
• Lift and place finished concrete products onto pallets.
• Package products and prepare them for delivery.
• Empty, clean, and prepare moulds for reuse.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in precast concrete, concrete production, construction, manufacturing, or a similar environment is an advantage.
• Experience working with concrete moulds and/or steel reinforcement is beneficial.
• Forklift experience/licence is desirable.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy materials and working in a production environment.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and instructions.
• Willingness to work outdoors or in an industrial/production environment where required.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves regular manual handling, standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, moving concrete products and working with steel reinforcement and production equipment**.**

Work: 40 hrs/ week.
Salary: 37,231.00 - 40,000 euros annually
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: €37,231.00-€40,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
