Precast Engineer ( A1 Maincon/ HDB) JM

Our client is an Singapore company in the Construction industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Precast Engineer (HDB) to join their Project team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.

Job Description:

• Coordinate precast design development and shop drawing submissions with consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Review precast element details, reinforcement, embedded items, and structural connections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Plan and coordinate casting schedules with precast suppliers to meet project milestones.
• Coordinate the delivery sequence of precast elements in line with the overall site construction programme.
• Monitor precast installation and erection works, including crane operations and lifting activities.
• Ensure precast elements are installed within specified tolerances and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify and resolve installation, coordination, and interface issues with the project team, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor the progress and productivity of precast erection works and implement measures to minimise delays.
• Prepare and review technical reports, method statements, lifting plans, and other relevant project documentation.
• Liaise closely with site, structural, architectural, and M&E teams to ensure smooth coordination of precast works.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience as a Precast Engineer in HDB construction projects.
• Good knowledge of precast construction, installation methods, structural connections, and site coordination.
• Familiarity with precast shop drawings, lifting operations, construction sequencing, and quality requirements.
