Precast Labourer - Rolleston

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Precast Labourer to join a busy team at a Rolleston-based site specializing in precast retaining walls.
 
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, and getting stuck in. Previous concrete or construction experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right person.
 
The Role

• Mixing, measuring and pouring concrete into moulds
• Setting up and identifying different moulds and designs
• Using a gantry crane to remove moulds from finished concrete
• Cleaning and preparing moulds for reuse
• Operating a forklift where required — F endorsement and OSH certification are beneficial but not essential
• General labouring, including heavy lifting and physical work
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Working at the Hornby site from time to time to assist in the warehouse
• Learning to scan products and prepare customer order consignments

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Happy working in a hands-on environment where you may get dirty
• Able to follow instructions and work safely
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Forklift experience or licences are an advantage, but not essential
• Previous construction, concrete or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required

What We Offer

• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm
• Stable, full-time hours
• $25+ per hour dependent on experience
• Training provided
• Variety between the Rolleston production site and occasional warehouse work in Hornby
• Opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in the precast concrete industry
