We are currently hiring for Installation Technicians on both 1st Shift and 3rd Shift.

Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

As a Precision Assembly Technician (Keensert), you'll repair and reinforce threaded holes in metal components using specialized tools and equipment. You'll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive durable, reliable parts that meet exact engineering specifications.

Job Summary:

The Keensert Installation Technician is responsible for installing threaded inserts (Keenserts) into metal components to reinforce threads. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical specifications to ensure strong, reliable installations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Drill, tap, and install Keenserts in accordance with engineering specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and insert installation equipment
• Inspect completed work for proper fit, alignment, and thread quality
• Repair stripped or damaged threads using approved methods
• Maintain quality standards and ensure accuracy in all installations
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Document completed tasks and report issues or defects
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in mechanical assembly, machining, or threaded insert installation preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with drills, taps, torque tools, and precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 + years of related experience preferred.
• Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of walking or standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must wear required PPE including safety glasses.
