About the Role

As a Precision CNC Technician, you will play a vital role in manufacturing high-tolerance components for the aerospace sector. You will leverage your technical expertise in programming and machine operation to ensure production efficiency and superior part quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex setups and oversee the operation of multi-axis CNC mills and lathes to meet rigorous aerospace production standards.
• Interpret intricate blueprints, shop drawings, and setup sheets to ensure precise execution of machining programs.
• Optimize production throughput by managing multiple machines simultaneously, making real-time G-code and M-code adjustments as needed.
• Select and install appropriate tooling to maintain machine performance and part accuracy.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers to verify conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by strictly adhering to all operational safety protocols.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC milling and turning centers.
• Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and applying GD&T principles.
• Hands-on experience with G-code and M-code programming and editing.
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating high-end machinery such as Mazak, DMG Mori, or Fanuc-controlled systems.
• Background in 5-axis machining or complex mill-turn operations.
• Previous experience working within the aerospace or high-precision manufacturing industries.
