About the Role

As a Precision Cutting Technician, you will serve as a vital link in our manufacturing workflow by transforming raw materials into high-quality components. You will utilize your technical expertise in material handling and precision measurement to ensure every cut meets exact engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure and calibrate industrial sawing equipment to ensure optimal performance for diverse job requirements.
• Execute precise material cuts by securing and aligning stock according to production blueprints.
• Validate component accuracy by utilizing precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Enhance component quality by performing secondary finishing tasks like grinding and smoothing rough edges.
• Maintain operational efficiency by conducting routine preventative maintenance, including blade and belt replacements.
• Document production throughput and maintain accurate logs to support inventory and scheduling goals.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Proven ability to interpret complex technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Demonstrated proficiency with precision measurement and hand metrology.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Experience with heavy material handling and safe shop practices.
