Pre-Construction Cleaning Supervisor

Position Summary

The Pre-Construction Supervisor oversees project preparation, jobsite coordination, and team scheduling to ensure construction cleaning projects are properly staffed and ready for execution. This position visits jobsites, meets with General Contractors (GCs), reviews project requirements, and coordinates schedules with field teams and company management.

The ideal candidate is organized, communicates effectively, and can adjust to changing project needs. This role requires a flexible schedule and the ability to assist with cleaning and other field duties when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project Planning and Jobsite Oversight

• Visit jobsites before project start and throughout the project to review site conditions, progress, and readiness for scheduled work.
• Meet with GCs and project representatives to confirm scope of work, deadlines, access requirements, and expectations.
• Identify staffing, equipment, material, and supply needs before crews arrive.
• Communicate site conditions, delays, scope changes, and other concerns to company management.
• Conduct walkthroughs and help coordinate punch-list work and project completion.

Scheduling and Team Coordination

• Create, maintain, and coordinate team schedules across multiple projects.
• Confirm project start dates, completion deadlines, and crew availability.
• Adjust schedules as construction timelines and jobsite conditions change.
• Clearly communicate assignments, reporting times, locations, and instructions to team members.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and field supervisors to ensure adequate staffing and efficient use of resources.

Field Support and Quality

• Provide direction and support to field teams.
• Assist with construction cleaning and other assigned field work when additional support is needed.
• Monitor work quality and help resolve issues promptly.
• Provide supplies to team members as needed.
• Reinforce company safety procedures and jobsite requirements.
• Document jobsite visits, scheduling updates, and project concerns.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction cleaning, construction supervision, or a related field.
• Ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects and team schedules.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work professionally with GCs, clients, management, and field employees.
• Ability to use scheduling tools, email, and mobile communication applications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between jobsites.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Schedule and Work Requirements

• Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends when required.
• Must be available to visit multiple jobsites and respond to scheduling changes.
• Must be willing and able to perform hands-on field work when needed.
• Must be able to navigate active construction sites and perform essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
