Preconstruction Manager

A leading national construction firm - building major, complex projects since the early 1900s - is scaling up its Atlanta healthcare practice to take on some of the region's largest hospital work. We're looking for a Preconstruction Manager to get in early on these projects.

What the role involves

• Leading budgeting and estimating on large, complex healthcare projects from early concept through final buyout
• Running on-screen takeoffs and building conceptual, detailed, and self-perform estimates
• Partnering with design teams to stress-test constructability, cost, and schedule before problems get expensive
• Coordinating with Operations, Estimating, and clients to keep every pursuit on track and well-documented
• Spotting risk early — in design, in scope, in the market — and building a plan around it
• Keeping multiple fast-moving pursuits organized without losing the details that matter

What you'll bring

• 5-10+ years in estimating and preconstruction, ideally with healthcare or other highly technical commercial work
• Comfort with Bluebeam, Excel, and on-screen takeoff software
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Sharp attention to detail balanced with the ability to juggle several live pursuits at once
• Strong collaboration instincts - this role sits between design, estimating, and operations all day
