Prep & Line Team Member

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking team member who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This is a hands-on, on-the-line position for your entire shift not a back-of-house-only prep role.

You'll be responsible for assembling menu items to our standards while also keeping the kitchen stocked through continuous food prep. When order volume slows, you'll transition immediately into prepping for the next day's service. Around here, downtime is prep time.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and garnish all menu items according to recipe and presentation standards throughout the entire shift.
• Move seamlessly between the assembly line and prep station as business demands.
• During slower periods, prep proteins, produce, sauces, and toppings for upcoming service.
• Marinate, portion, and prepare proteins following established recipes.
• Wash, chop, and portion fresh produce and garnishes.
• Maintain FIFO rotation, proper labeling, dating, and organized storage.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures (ServSafe-level standards).
• Keep workstations, equipment, and utensils clean, stocked, and organized.
• Communicate low inventory or out-of-stock items to the owner or shift lead immediately.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience is preferred but not required we're happy to train the right person.
• Comfortable using knives and basic kitchen equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts.
• Tennessee Food Handler Permit (or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire).

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
