Prep Chef/Kitchen Porter

We're looking for a reliable prep chef and kitchen hand to support our kitchen across daily service and private functions.

The role

• Prepare ingredients and components ahead of service (mise en place, salads, sandwiches, cakes, function platters)
• Assist the chef during service with plating and basic cooking
• Receive and store deliveries, rotate stock, check use-by dates
• Maintain a clean, organised kitchen — dishwashing, benches, floors, bins
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

About you

• Some kitchen experience preferred, but attitude matters more
• Fast, tidy and calm under pressure
• Reliable and punctual — able to work early starts and weekends
• Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Full working rights in Australia
