We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our team as a prep cook in our restaurant. As a prep cook, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the preparation of ingredients and food items for the kitchen. This includes chopping, slicing, and dicing vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning ingredients according to recipes. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized prep area, monitoring ingredient inventory, and ensuring that all food items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and freshness. Strong knife skills, time management, and the ability to follow recipes and portion sizes accurately are essential for success in this role. The role of a prep cook is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation, setting the stage for a successful dining experience for our guests.
