Prep Cook

Position Summary

Armor Brewing Company is looking for a dependable, hardworking Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is responsible for preparing ingredients and menu components while keeping the kitchen stocked, organized, and ready for service. The ideal candidate works efficiently, follows recipes consistently, and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily food prep according to Armor Brewing recipes and standards.
• Prepare, portion, and organize ingredients for service.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and preparation procedures consistently.
• Properly label, date, store, and rotate food products.
• Maintain a clean and organized prep area.
• Monitor prep levels and communicate product needs to kitchen leadership.
• Minimize waste through proper preparation and product handling.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries as needed.
• Assist the line and other kitchen team members when needed.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knife and food preparation skills preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organized.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
