Prep Cook

Job Summary:

Lecavalier Cellars is seeking a part-time Prep Cook to join our tasting room culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and supporting a creative, collaborative kitchen environment.

Under general supervision, you’ll work as part of a team to support tasting room operations in a manner that achieves the established financial goals, ensures a rich consumer experience, builds consumer loyalty and reflects the brand essence.

Tasting Room Operating Days: Wednesday - Sunday

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily prep for our tasting room menu and events
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized prep area
• Support the kitchen team during service and events
• Ensure all food is prepared safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
• Prior kitchen or prep experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Required to lift and move product weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Required to work weekends, closing shift and a flexible schedule as needed.
• Required to engage in frequent walking and standing (6+ hrs).
• Required to be 21 years or older
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a small team

Compensation:

• Hiring Range Posted: $20/ hr to $22/hr depending on experience.
