Prep Cook

Looking for a Day Prep Cook for busy steak and seafood restaurant

Monday-Saturday (Day Position)

• Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice fruits, vegetables, and proteins.
• Recipe Execution: Accurately measure ingredients, mix dressings or sauces, and perform basic cooking tasks like parboiling or reducing sauces.
• Organization & Storage: Label, date, and store all food items properly in refrigerators, freezers, and pantries to maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) rotation and minimize waste.
• Station Setup: Set up workstations with necessary tools, cutting boards, and ingredients prior to service.
• Sanitation & Safety: Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift; adhere strictly to health and food safety regulations.
• Serve Safe Certification: Must have certification or be willing to obtain Serve Safe Certification

Must have at least 3 years or more experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
