Full Time and Part Time Positions Available
SAWATDEE of Maple Grove is hiring COOKS for our KITCHEN team. Serving award-winning Thai cuisine since 1983.

GREAT ENTRY LEVEL POSITION
Shifts: Most needed are weekend evenings (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) as well as weekdays. Full time hours are available if flexible scheduling.

PREP COOKS are responsible for the preparation, production and presentation of menu items.

DUTIES
Be able to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends

Get along with others and be a team player

Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.

Prepare simple dishes such as appetizers, salads, curries.

Experience cooking in an Asian commercial kitchen is a plus but not required

Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, cleaning, mopping, etc as needed.

Comply with all safety and sanitation (including handwashing) guidelines and procedures

Be proficient in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment

Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook

Other duties will be assigned as needed

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform more than one task at a time, calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and sometimes stressful work environment

Work with people from different cultures and with varying levels of english proficiency.

Work in a tight space of variable noise and temperature level

Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Be able to stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven and slick surface.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
