Prep Cook

Duties

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, cooking meat, and measuring ingredients
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food production
• Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries

Experience

• Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to follow recipes accurately
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality

Note: Culinary education or training is a plus but not required.
