Prep Cook

Elizabeth’s is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to support our culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with daily kitchen production to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef specifications
• Wash, peel, cut, portion, and properly store produce and other ingredients
• Assist with sauces, stocks, garnishes, and other components of menu preparation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store food
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and storage areas
• Work efficiently with the culinary team to complete daily prep lists
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef

Qualifications

• Previous professional kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Dependable, organized, and punctual
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies as needed
• Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and high culinary standards

Experience with fine dining or plant-based cuisine is helpful but not required.
