The Prep Cook prepares ingredients and food items to McDonald's Gold Standard ensuring quality and safety. Ensuring product is ready and available to support restaurant service throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare food prep pans according to prep charts and portioning standards.
• Follow proper food safety procedures, including handwashing, glove use, and temparture control
• Label and date all prepared product; rotating stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures
• Monitor holding times and discard expired product per food safety standards
• Communicate prep needs, shortages, or quality concerns to the Shift Leader
• Maintain a clean and organized prep area throughout the shift
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Ability to stand and move for the duration of a scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs
• Comfortable working with hot water, steam, and cleaning chemicals
• Frequent bending, reachings, and repetitive hand motions
