Join our dynamic culinary team here at the exciting new restaurant Watermark by the award-winning team here at Oceanstone Nordic spa as a Prep Cook and be the vital force behind creating delicious, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced food service environment.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients and recipes to the set standard and spec
• Assist in day-to-day operations and kitchen setup
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all food handling meets health regulations and company standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, and other culinary tools
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth kitchen operations

Skills

• Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant settings
• Proven knife skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices to prevent contamination
• Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality control
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with chefs, servers, and other kitchen staff
• Own transport is needed due to rural ocation
