Prep Cook

Bavarian Inn Lodge is looking for detail oriented, reliable culinary professionals to prepare food for our steam table and cold food areas and make specialty items for banquets, private parties, buffets, employee cafe, brunch, and other guest culinary needs.

Hours:

Part-time: 18 - 36 hours average work week, may vary in busy and slow seasons, more or less hours accordingly. Work shifts will be any combination of hours between 5:00am and 12:00 am (3 - 5 days a week).

Must be available to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand and walk continually.
• Minimum six month’s experience in related kitchen positions.
• Ability to withstand the kitchen heat.
• Good reading and math skills to follow recipes.
• Can follow, understand and convert recipes using standard units of measurement.
• Can lift and transport 50 pounds at a time
• Has acceptable knife skills
• Is willing and able to pass the Serve Safe Sanitation and Allergy tests
