Prep Cook

Shifts begin EARLY — typically between 3–4 AM and wrap up by 9–11 AM.

LOCATION: HUNTERS POINT

You'll need a flexible early morning schedule and be responsive and reliable when it comes to day-of communication.

Your day-to-day will include chopping and prepping fresh fruits and vegetables, preparing breakfast items like acai bowls, smoothies, and juices, assembling lunch items like bowls, sandwiches, and salads, and handling dishes, cleaning equipment, and keeping the kitchen tidy throughout your shift.

What We're Looking For:

We need someone with real kitchen experience who is passionate about food and takes pride in their work. This is a fast-paced environment that requires focus, consistency, and the ability to learn many menu items and stick to procedures.

Requirements:

• Flexible morning availability for 3–4 AM start times on a variable schedule
• Prior kitchen experience required — comfortable with knife skills, proper hygiene protocols, and working efficiently
• Passionate about food and genuinely care about quality
• Detail-oriented with consistent portioning and presentation
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet prep deadlines
• Reliable and on time — early morning shifts mean punctuality is essential
• Good communication skills via text for schedule updates and shift coordination
• Must be able to read English to follow prep lists, labels, menus, and orders
• Comfortable with kitchen cleaning duties including dishes and sanitizing
