We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

• Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
• Assist in the cooking process by preparing sauces, marinades, and other components.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
• Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation.
• Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
• Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with food setup and service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or dietary department is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Basic culinary skills with a willingness to learn more advanced techniques.
• Team player attitude with a desire to help others in the kitchen.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
