Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and food processors
• Follow food safety protocols and handle food items with care to prevent contamination
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Support the culinary team with meal prep for catering events or daily service needs
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure timely food production

Requirements

• Familiarity food preparation techniques, and recipe adherence
• Knowledge of safety standards in food production and proper food handling procedures
• Experience operating kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and ovens
• Strong understanding of food safety management practices and sanitation standards
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Culinary or restaurant experience is preferred; catering experience is a plus
